Cheerleader competition and cheerleading championship
A relaxed non stress environment is often what you can expect at a cheerleader competition or cheerleading championship. Additionally you can expect a high level of concentration as each team will compete to their highest ability.
Cheerleading championships and competitions are fun as well as rewarding and often will be the anticipated event of the year with gifts, giveaways, video entertainment and professional coaching available. No matter where you place in the competition, the memories are cherished forever.
Competitions happen all around the US and squads will often travel great distances as they work toward a cheerleading championship. The All American National Championship is in Tampa Florida and is well attended. Teams from around the U.S. compete for the titles available at the championship having worked their way up by winning local, state and district competitions.
Many smaller competitions are held in just one day; however, the larger district competitions and the championships particularly are generally held over a weekend. Often a block of rooms in close by hotels are reserved for the competitors and their spectators.
The first day is usually registration, practice sessions and settling in; this often occurs on Friday evening. The fun of competition will most likely begin on Saturday morning with squads performing and being eliminated until the final rounds are performed. The award ceremony may be held on Saturday night ending the competition or championship or it may be held Sunday.
There will be a fee to participate in the competition in various levels including a participant fee, crossover fee, individual fee and a stunt/group/duo/trio fee. Additionally there are spectator fees to watch the competition or championship.
You may even have a parking fee, particularly in the larger cities. In many cases you are not permitted to take your own photos or videos; however, a videographer is often employed for the event and the videos and pictures are available for purchase through them. Be sure to sign up early with the heat number and other information to be certain your competitor is featured.
